Monday's Music Moves Me

Well its Monday again, the week has just flown by and its time again for some music.  It's a busy week with Valentines Day just around the corner.  This week's theme is Valentines appropriate songs but without "Love" in the title. (There are so many)

The first song I thought of when coming up with this was Cupid, by Sam Cooke a classic from 1961.




The 1990 song More Than Words by Extreme is my next choice.  The song is a great reminder that sometimes we need to use More Than Words to show what we feel.  This song was always a favorite and we sung it in music class when I was in grade school.




What is it about Journey that makes all their songs sound epic? Open Arms remains one of my favorites.

    Such a fun theme! I love Journey and Open Arms is one of my all time favorites. I have listened to More Than Words in a long time, another good one and Cupid is old but not one I have ever heard,thanks for sharing. Have a great week and fun Valentine's Day :)

    So much Journey today for sure! Fortunately I believe they were all different. Truly a romantically inclined voice/songs for Mr. Perry. Love your theme today by the way! Great choice & fun!     Great theme today.
    The first song is a true classic. Nice one I have not heard in a long time.
    In fact, none of the songs picks for today have I heard in several years.
    Oh yes, I had the Journey album and sang it at the top of my lungs many times!

    Ah....Cupid....*le sigh* classic and Sam Cooke = one of my favourite voices. Loved hearing this.
    And certainly you can never go wrong with a Journey song on Love Day.
